Maybe
4S was a bit pushy but the game has chances even opposite a not very good
dummy. South will presumably lead the queen of hearts and declarer will ruff
and play his top spades only to discover he has a loser there. However he does
best now to get rid of that master spade in the North hand, although that does
seem counter-intuitive. North will probably force with another heart but
declarer ruffs and plays a club, taken by North who will force out declarer’s
last trump with yet another heart. Now when declarer leads another club South
must duck otherwise declarer makes six spades, two diamonds and two clubs.
Instead South must win the third club lead and switch to diamonds when declarer
will lose one spade, one diamond and two clubs.
