before, decisions at the 5-level are notoriously difficult to get right on a
regular basis and the hand shown below was no exception.

is so right to bid 5C because 4H is cold but just see how hard it is for East
to double that contract which is two off trivially. Nevertheless -500 for
North/South is par but I have a sneaky feeling I would be bidding 5H on that
East hand which is one off in top tricks – assuming the defence takes them!
